SDG Awards

SDG Awards

In 2015, world leaders agreed on 17 goals that should make the world a better place for life by 2030. These goals have the power to end poverty, fight inequality, and stop climate change. Together with governments, companies, the civil society, and the public, each of us can participate in achieving these goals, thus improving the living conditions on Earth and ensuring a better future for everyone. At BLF CSR Summit 2019, we will present awards to those whose projects help fulfill the vision for 2030. Each project is nominated for a solution to a specific goal and subgoal. A list of all goals can be found on our website.

In what categories are the awards presented?

Who are the winners selected by?

Nominees are selected by a committee consisting of people from various sectors: business, the media, the public sector, and the non-profit sector. A list of the committee’s members will be published after its final meeting in early November 2019. As the organizer of the event, we will contribute with our recommendations, but we do not have voting rights – winners will be selected by the expert committee exclusively. It is not possible to apply to the competition. The awards will be presented to the winners of individual categories at the end of the BLF CSR Summit, on 12 November 2019 in the Old Market Hall in Bratislava. You can find out more about the conditions and mechanism of selecting winners in our statute.
